  • I ran this book past a rocket scientist friend who is also a roller coaster enthusiast. He assured me it is scientifically accurate. He also thought it was very fun to read. He fondly recalled his love of comic books as a young teen. So I bought a second copy to donate to a very needy school Wounded Knee District School, PO Box 350, Manderson, SD 57756. These kids deserve fun books, too.
  • We love The Magic School Bus books but were ready to move on to more advnaced scientific topics. Max Axiom is it. These are great! They're comic book-like but are FILLED with scientific information told in a manner that is understandable but is easily understood. In this book Max Axiom goes through Newton's 3 Laws at an amusement park, in a bowling alley, at a skate park, and in a swimming pool. My 8, 5, and 2 year olds LOVE this book and all of the other Max Axiom books as well.
  • These are great for making science fun and easy to read about.
  • This was received quite well by the students in my class. It's colorful, interesting, and informative.
  • I was looking for graphic novels and was delighted to find this one. Not only does it meet the requirements of being a graphic novel which my kiddos are looking for but it also delivers a good dose of science on Forces and Motion. Wow! Hitting two areas at once! We are enjoying it and learning at the same time.
  • I just taught a unit on Physics and this comic book was perfect for my 4th-6th graders! It explained Force and Motion with ease and in a fun engaging way. I want the whole set!!
  • Love the series just wish the books were longer
The idea of these books is great, but they need to make the book longer with more of a plot so that children have time to get into the adventure and learn the information.
  • Students love graphic novels.
